These terms apply when you use dockya.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Dockya.

Using Dockya

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the site, and at least 18 to create a service provider account.
• Keep your account details accurate and your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Don't misuse the site. That includes scraping it in bulk, trying to break its security, posting spam, or pretending to be someone else.

Boating information is a guide, not a guarantee

We check place details against official sources, but conditions change. Launch rules, fees, hours, closures, water levels, invasive species inspections and weather can change without notice. Always check with the operator or agency, and follow posted rules and official warnings. You are responsible for your own safety on the water. Dockya is not an official source and does not replace notices from the Coast Guard, the National Weather Service, park agencies or harbor operators.

Reviews, photos and suggestions

• Post only honest reviews of places you have actually visited, and only photos you took or have the right to share.
• No hateful, harassing, illegal or misleading content, and no personal details of others.
• You keep ownership of what you post. You give Dockya a free, worldwide license to show it on the site and in Dockya promotion, and to resize or crop it as needed.
• We may remove content that breaks these rules. Review photos are checked before they appear.

Service providers

• Business listings may be created from public information. If a listing is about your business, you can claim it and correct it after we verify you.
• Providers must give truthful information about their business, licenses and insurance, and must follow the laws that apply to their trade.
• Dockya is not a party to agreements between boat owners and providers. Any quote, booking or job is between the owner and the provider. Before hiring, check licenses, insurance and terms.
• Paid features for providers, when we offer them, will have their own terms that you accept before buying.

Links and third-party content

The site links to other websites, and uses photos credited to their authors under their licenses. We are not responsible for other websites.

Disclaimers and limits

Dockya is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no guarantees that the site will be accurate, complete or always available. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses that come from relying on information on the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Ending your use

You can stop using Dockya and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
