About this boat ramp

The Rio Vista Boat Launch is the city's public ramp on the Sacramento River, behind City Hall off Front Street in downtown Rio Vista.

The ramp

The city rebuilt the launch and its parking lot, reopening in April 2021. It has two lanes, parking for vehicles with trailers, restrooms and a picnic area with tables and a drinking fountain.

Fees

A day launch is $14, including vehicle and trailer parking; an extra vehicle is $5. An annual pass is $160 per boat, January through December, sold at City Hall. Pay at the on-site station by cash or card; City Hall takes cash or check only.

Nearby

The Rio Vista Bridge and the town's restaurants are a short walk away.

Getting there & access

From Highway 12 or the Rio Vista Bridge take the Front Street exit, go about half a mile to Main Street; the launch is on the left half a block past Main, behind City Hall.
