About this boat ramp
Morelli Park Boat Launch is the City of Stockton's public ramp at 1025 W. Weber Avenue, at the head of the Stockton Deep Water Channel next to the Downtown Marina. It's the closest launch to downtown and a quick run out to the San Joaquin River and the Delta.
Launching
The state boating database lists 121 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers, plus restrooms and a picnic area. Summer hours are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and overnight parking isn't allowed. The city has been waiving launch fees for vehicles with trailers while the Smith Canal Gate project affects other city launches; confirm current fees before you go.
On the water
The channel near the ramp is a no-wake area and is calm enough for kayaks. Golden mussels are now in the Delta, so clean, drain and dry your boat before taking it to any inland lake.
