About this boat ramp
Minersville Public Boat Ramp is a Forest Service launch on Granite Peak Road on the west side of [Trinity Lake](/lakes/trinity-lake), next to Minersville Campground.
The ramp
The Forest Service's 2024 ramp chart lists Minersville open year-round, with full services from May 1 to October 31. The state directory lists restrooms. The Forest Service has a project planned to replace the asphalt ramp with a two-lane concrete low-water ramp and add parking above the high-water line, a new restroom and a wider driveway.
Paying
A daily fee is charged. Pay at the ramp with the Recreation.gov app; download and sign in before you arrive, since cell service is limited.
Getting there & access
By road
The ramp is on Granite Peak Road by Minersville Campground, off Highway 3.
Mussel rules
Arrive clean, drained and completely dry: at least 5 days dry if the boat was last used outside the area, or 30 days (or a professional decontamination) after waters with golden mussels. Show a signed Mussel-Free Self-Certification through the windshield.
Low water
Once Trinity Lake is drawn down more than about 50 feet, some ramps close or move. Call the Weaverville Ranger Station, (530) 623-2121, for current conditions.
