About this boat ramp

Knights Landing Boat Launch sits on 4 acres where Sycamore Slough meets the Sacramento River, about 25 miles northwest of Sacramento at 9350 Highway 45. The site is owned by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and run by Yolo County.

Launching

The launch has parking and restrooms but no drinking water, and overnight camping isn't allowed. Every vehicle pays a $12 day-use fee, and the county's annual pass covers both Knights Landing and Elkhorn Regional Park. The site is used for boating, water skiing and fishing, and is especially known for river fishing.

Knights Landing is on Highway 45 about 25 miles northwest of Sacramento; the launch is at the junction of the river and Sycamore Slough.
