About this boat ramp
Elkhorn Regional Park is a 55-acre Yolo County park on the riverside berm of the Sacramento River at 18989 Old River Road, north of West Sacramento. It's on the opposite bank from Sacramento County's Elkhorn Boat Launching Facility, so check which one you're heading to.
Launching
The park has a boat ramp, a picnic area, parking and restrooms, with a park host living on site. It's open 7 a.m. to dusk unless river conditions force a closure. Every vehicle pays $12 a day; Yolo County also sells an annual pass good here and at Knights Landing.
The setting
The riparian woods along the river make it a good spot for birdwatching, nature study and picnics.
