About this boat ramp
Buckley Cove Boat Launch is a City of Stockton ramp on the San Joaquin River in west Stockton, at the end of Buckley Cove Way off March Lane. It puts you straight onto the river near the Delta, a short run from the Stockton Deep Water Channel.
Launching
The state boating database lists about 150 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers and two boarding floats. The city lists hours of 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends.
Before you go
Golden mussels are now in the Delta. If you'll take the same boat to an inland lake, clean, drain and dry it and expect inspections and quarantines there.
