Marina guide
Ventura Harbor Village Marina Guest Docks
Ventura, Ventura County, CA
Overview
Ventura Harbor Village Marina, at 1583 Spinnaker Drive, is the marina on Ventura Harbor's restaurant and shopping waterfront. It's the main place visiting boaters tie up in Ventura Harbor, whether for a lunch stop or a night or two.
Day visits
The marina offers complimentary guest docks for up to two hours, so you can come ashore for dining, shopping and entertainment in Ventura Harbor Village. Space depends on availability, so call the Courtesy Patrol at (805) 218-4888 or hail them on VHF 16 before you come in. Paddlers can use a free inside tie on 'C' dock in front of Brophy Bros, and electric boats can get complimentary day use through the Courtesy Patrol.
Overnight
Overnight transient moorage costs $1.50 per foot per day, depending on availability. Bring valid vessel documentation, proof of insurance and photo ID. The marina doesn't offer live-aboard slips, and much of its dock space serves commercial fishing, including the squid fleet, so transient space can be tight in busy seasons.
Other options
Three full-service marinas also take overnight transients: Derecktor Ventura, Safe Harbor Ventura Isle and Ventura West Marina. Ventura Harbor also has fuel docks, chandleries, boatyards, showers, laundry, pump-outs, Harbor Patrol and Vessel Assist. The harbor's public launch ramp is listed separately.
Good to know
Ventura Harbor Patrol monitors VHF 12 and 16.
