Tower Park Marina
Lodi, San Joaquin County, CA
Overview
Tower Park Marina is a full-service Delta marina and resort at 14900 West Highway 12 in Lodi, on Little Potato Slough where the Sacramento and San Joaquin river systems meet. It runs 285 slips, most of them covered, plus 45 inside and 107 outside dry-storage spaces and a trailer yard. It is one of the few Delta marinas in this part of the system with a public ramp, a fuel dock, a pump-out and boat rentals all in one place.
Launching and fuel
The marina has a boat launch ramp and offers valet launching by tractor. Posted rates are $20 for a self launch and $25 for a valet launch, with posted launch hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The fuel dock has two pay-at-the-pump pumps selling regular, mid-grade, premium and diesel.
Staying overnight
Transient boats can reserve overnight or weekly. The open guest dock takes boats up to 45 feet, and the finger slips on the I, J and K docks take boats up to 25 feet. The resort next door has campsites, a restaurant, a store, showers and a swimming area.
On the water
Little Potato Slough runs about four miles from the Stockton Deep Water Channel north to the South Mokelumne River at Highway 12. Winds and current can be strong, and side channels have shallows and snags, so stay in the marked channel.
Getting there & access
By water
The marina is on Little Potato Slough, about four miles up the slough from the Stockton Deep Water Channel and close to where the slough meets the South Mokelumne River at Highway 12. State spill-response survey notes for the slough warn of strong winds and current and of shallows and snags in side channels.
By road
The address is 14900 West Highway 12, Lodi. The California Division of Boating and Waterways lists room for about 50 cars with trailers.
Launch hours and valet
Posted launch hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The marina office lists Monday and Tuesday as closed, so call (209) 283-1589 before planning a midweek launch. Valet launching by tractor is available.
Guest dock procedure
Reserve overnight or weekly transient space by phone or email (marina@towerparkresort.com). Slip assignment depends on boat size and length of stay. Posted daily rates include utilities.

Common boat service needs here
Engine and outboard service
Delta weeds, silt and warm water are hard on cooling intakes and impellers. Boats that run long summer days from here often need routine cooling-system and engine servicing.

With 285 slips in warm slough water, growth on hulls and drives builds quickly in summer, and regular diver cleaning keeps speed and economy up.

Inland Delta sun is intense in July and August. Covered slips shield some boats, but open-dock and dry-storage boats need strong bimini tops, covers and upholstery.
