Marina guide
Rancheria Marina (Huntington Lake)
Lakeshore, Fresno County, CA
Overview
Rancheria Marina, run by Rancheria Enterprises, sits on the north shore of Huntington Lake at 62311 Huntington Lake Road in Lakeshore, next to the Forest Service's Rancheria Campground in the Sierra National Forest. Huntington is a high-country summer lake, so the marina runs a short season built around campers, cabin owners and anglers.
What the marina offers
The state boating directory lists about 122 slips and tie-ups for boats from about 10 to 33 ft. It also lists boat rentals, a convenience store, fishing tackle, fuel, ice, a snack bar, transient tie-ups, water on the dock, and haul-out and boat repair. The operator also rents slips and has camping and a rental chalet.
Season and hours
The marina usually opens Memorial Day weekend and stays open until October. From Memorial Day to Labor Day it's open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily; for the rest of the season, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday through Monday.
Up-country conditions
Huntington Lake is reached by Highway 168 east from Clovis through Shaver Lake. Cell service is limited around the lake, and it's bear country, so store food properly at the campground and in vehicles.

Common boat service needs here
High-altitude engine work
Huntington sits high in the Sierra, and boats brought up from the valley often need tuning or prop changes to run properly at altitude.

The season ends in October and winters are severe, so boats need winterizing and are usually hauled out and moved to storage.
Find Boat Transport, Towing & Delivery providers →Canvas and UV protection
Strong mountain sun quickly degrades covers, Bimini tops and seats on boats left in slips all summer.
