Marina guide
Pleasure Cove Marina
Napa, Napa County, CA
Overview
Pleasure Cove Marina sits on Lake Berryessa at 6100 Highway 128, a short drive west of Markley Cove. It's a full resort-style marina: slips, a launch, dry storage, camping and lodging in one place, operating under a Bureau of Reclamation concession.
The marina
The state boating facilities directory lists about 220 slips and tie-ups, all covered, for boats from 18 to 75 feet, plus dry storage for about 30 boats. The launch has two boarding floats and two carry-down walkways, and there are about 125 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers. Services include fuel sales, a convenience store, a restaurant, tackle, ice, boat rentals, a fish-cleaning station, a washdown area, laundry, showers, power and water on the docks, transient tie-ups, a sewage pump-out and oil disposal. Campsites, lodging, a swimming area and picnic areas round it out.
Launching under the seal program
Pleasure Cove is one of the five launch locations Reclamation lists on the lake. Since November 25, 2024, every boat launching at Berryessa must be inspected and sealed. Boats either sit out a 30-day red-seal quarantine or get hot-water decontamination from approved Solano County Water Agency staff, and an exit seal on the way out lets you launch freely next time.
Good to know
Call the marina for current launch hours and fees before towing in.
Getting there & access

Launching

Common boat service needs here
Pre-launch cleaning
Berryessa's seal program means boats are inspected every time they arrive from elsewhere. A clean, dry, fully drained boat makes inspection and hot-water decontamination quicker.
Find Boat Detailing & Washing providers →Slip-boat hull care
Boats in the covered slips avoid most UV but still collect algae and a scum line in warm summer water. Periodic hull cleaning keeps them ready to run.
Find Bottom Cleaning, Hull Cleaning & Dive Services providers →Engine service
With quarantine making trailer trips slower, owners keep boats at the lake longer, so on-site engine and outdrive service becomes more important.
Find Marine Mechanics & Engine Service providers →Dry storage and slips
Pleasure Cove has both covered slips and dry storage, and many owners keep a boat here year-round instead of going through repeated quarantine.
