About this marina

Petaluma Marina is the City of Petaluma's marina at 781 Baywood Drive, on the tidal Petaluma River.

Slips

The state boating directory lists about 167 covered slips for boats from 20 to 40 feet, transient berths, power and water on the docks, fuel and a pump-out.

The ramp

The boat ramp and dock are open sunrise to sunset daily. The launch-area lot is day use, but boat trailers can stay up to 72 hours. There's a boat-washing hose, restrooms at the harbormaster office, picnic tables, and a hotel and restaurants next door.

On the river

The Petaluma River is tidal with strong currents and wind. Don't land in the marshes, and keep at least 50 feet from rail habitat.
