Safe Harbor Loch Lomond (Loch Lomond Marina)
San Rafael, Marin County, CA

Transient slips cover the same range but carry a 17-foot height limit. Slips have shore power, water and dock boxes, and there's drive-up parking. There's also a launch ramp, a live bait shop and outdoor dry storage for boats up to 25 feet.
Who uses it
Marin owners keep sailboats and powerboats here for quick runs into San Pablo Bay, to the Marin Islands, and down past Point San Quentin to the Central Bay. Anglers use the ramp and the on-site live bait shop.
What's different about boating here
This is the north side of the bay, where San Pablo Bay shoals widely outside the channels. The 6-foot draft limit is a good reminder to watch the tide on the approach. The marina monitors VHF 16.
Getting there & access
By water
The marina opens onto the bay off San Rafael's east shore. Maximum draft is 6 feet, so check the tide before entering. Hail the office on VHF 16.
