Holiday Harbor Resort & Marina sits at 20061 Shasta Caverns Road in O'Brien, on the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake, next to the Lake Shasta Caverns turnoff off Interstate 5.
On the water
The state boating directory lists boat rentals, fuel, haul-out and repair, a store, a restaurant, campsites, showers, laundry and shore boat service. In 2023 the harbor told KRCR it had 45 of its 58 rental boats on the water, along with houseboat rentals, and that reservations were limited in summer.
Mussel rules
Boats must be cleaned, drained and completely dried before launching on Shasta Lake. A federal order bans carrying golden, zebra or quagga mussels below the lake's high-water mark.

Take the Shasta Caverns Road exit (O'Brien) from Interstate 5 north of Redding and follow Shasta Caverns Road to the harbor.

Boats must arrive clean, drained and completely dry: at least 5 days dry if last used outside the area, or 30 days (or a professional decontamination) after waters with golden mussels. Bring the signed Mussel-Free Self-Certification and show it through the windshield.
