Marina guide
Dana Landing (Mission Bay)
San Diego, San Diego County, CA
Overview
Dana Landing is a City-owned marina complex on Ingraham Street in Mission Bay, close to the Mission Bay Channel and the ocean entrance. It combines an 80-slip marina, a fuel dock, a market and boat rentals, and the City's Dana Landing public launch ramp sits right next door on Dana Landing Road.
Layout and who uses it
The marina at 2630 Ingraham Street lists slips for boats from 30 to 50 feet, with power and water on the docks, showers, laundry and gear lockers. The market and fuel dock at 2580 Ingraham Street sell gas and diesel along with ice, tackle and snacks, and offer transient tie-ups. A 152-space parking area serves the complex. The City launch ramp is right beside the complex.
What's different about boating here
Mission Bay's dredged entrance channel is maintained at about 20 feet at mean low tide, while much of the rest of the bay averages around 8 feet. The whole bay is 5 mph from sunset to sunrise, and in daylight within 100 feet of shore, near bridges and near other boats.
Good to know
The City sought proposals in 2026 for a new lease of up to 15 years on the marina property, so operators and services may change. Call ahead to confirm fuel hours.

Common boat service needs here
Hull cleaning
Boats kept in slips here sit in warm, shallow bay water where growth builds quickly, so most owners schedule a diver for regular hull cleaning.

Antifouling wears down with constant immersion and diver cleaning; slip boats need periodic haul-outs for fresh bottom paint and zincs.

Sportfishers and cruisers in the 30–50 ft range need regular diesel or gas engine, generator and cooling-system service in salt water.
