Campland on the Bay Marina & Boat Launch
San Diego, San Diego County, CA
Overview
Campland on the Bay is a bayfront RV and camping resort at 2211 Pacific Beach Drive, on the north shore of Mission Bay, with its own small marina, a three-lane boat ramp and dry storage for boats and trailers. It's one of the few places on the bay where you can camp, store a boat and launch it from the same property.
Layout and who uses it
The ramp sits next to the marina. Day visitors can use the boat launch at the same rate campers pay, and there are 31 free public parking spaces (four with EV chargers). Marina slips are a small set reserved for overnight campers, for boats up to 27 feet, and require proof of current insurance and registration plus a refundable key deposit. The resort also offers gated dry storage, watersports rentals, a market, a cantina and a public beach.
What's different about boating here
