About this lake

Spring Lake is a 72-acre lake in Sonoma County's 320-acre Spring Lake Regional Park in Santa Rosa.

On the water

Gas engines aren't allowed. Trailered boats up to 16 feet with electric motors launch year-round at the Newanga Avenue ramp, and kayaks and paddleboards rent at the Violetti Road entrance from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Everyone on the water must wear a life jacket.

Swimming and camping

A separate chlorinated swimming lagoon is free and lifeguarded in summer, next to a water park with paid sessions. The campground has 31 sites in the oaks above the lake, three with sleeping cabins. Anglers catch largemouth bass, sunfish and catfish year-round.
