About this lake

Lodi Lake Park is a 114-acre City of Lodi park on Turner Road, built around a calm lake that opens onto the Mokelumne River. You can paddle the lake or head up the river toward the Highway 99 bridge, about four miles.

Boating

The park has a boat launch; the city has charged a fee per motorized boat that includes entry. The Boathouse rents kayaks, paddleboards and paddle boats in season and runs lessons and evening tours.

Swimming and nature

A large sandy beach with a buoyed swim area and lifeguards opens in summer. The 1-mile Lodi Lake Nature Trail loops through riverside habitat that's good for birdwatching. The river is fished for bass and catfish.
