About this lake

Lexington Reservoir sits along Highway 17 above Los Gatos in Lexington Reservoir County Park. It's a quiet, limited-power lake used by kayakers, paddleboarders and anglers.

On the water

Only limited-power boats are allowed: electric motors of 5 horsepower or less, plus kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, float tubes and sailboats up to 8 feet. The reservoir is open daily from mid-April to mid-October and on weekends and holidays the rest of the year.

Launching

The launch on Alma Bridge Road has a carry-down walkway, one boarding float and parking for about 20 cars with trailers. Every boat is inspected first.
