About this lake
Lake Siskiyou sits below Mount Shasta, and Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort on its southwest shore runs the marina, beach and campground year-round.
On the water
The lake speed limit is 10 mph and jet skis aren't allowed. The marina rents fishing boats, patio boats and party barges for up to 20 people, plus kayaks and paddleboards, from mid-May through Labor Day; renters must be 18 with ID. Short-term daily ($15) and weekly ($105) dock moorings run May through September, depending on lake level. Boaters register at the marina for a parking tag and park in the marina lot. California requires a Mussel Fee Sticker on boats used in fresh water.
Off season
The marina shop, beach rentals and Splash Zone are closed for the season; the Splash Zone closed early because of low water.
Day use and camping
Day use is $3 per person over 11, or $30 for a season pass. The resort has tent and RV sites, cabins and houses, a general store, a restaurant and the 7-mile Lake Siskiyou Trail.
