About this lake
Lake Sabrina sits at 9,128 feet on Bishop Creek in the Inyo National Forest, about 20 minutes southwest of Bishop on State Route 168.
On the water
Lake Sabrina Boat Landing runs the dock under a Forest Service permit. It rents motorboats, pontoons, tandem kayaks and canoes, with online booking. The state boating directory lists 10 boarding floats, parking for about 10 cars with trailers and boats from 10 to 22 feet. The Forest Service lists Sabrina among the Inyo lakes open to motorized boating. Boats must pass the Eastern Sierra mussel inspection before launching.
Cafe and store
The Waterfront Cafe serves breakfast and lunch from Memorial Day weekend through September. The store sells bait, tackle, snacks, ice and firewood.
Camping
The Forest Service's Sabrina Campground, about 3 miles below the lake, has 18 first-come sites at $34 a night, usually from May to mid-October.
