About this lake
Lake Henshaw is a 1,140-acre reservoir at 2,723 feet at the southeast foot of Palomar Mountain, owned by the Vista Irrigation District and used mainly for farm irrigation.
On the water
Lake Henshaw Resort on Highway 76 runs the launch and rents boats, and the lake is known for catfish and carp.
