About this lake
Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is a large regional park in the Baldwin Hills, run by Los Angeles County Parks. Its fishing lakes are a shore-fishing spot in the middle of the city.
Visiting
Like other county regional parks, it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. From March through October the park is open Wednesday to Sunday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; from November through February it closes at 6 p.m. Entrance and parking fees are listed on the county's fees page. On weekends and holidays the Baldwin Hills Parklands shuttle runs from the Metro Expo La Cienega station for 25 cents.
This is a fishing lake, not a boating one: the county lists no boating here.
