About this lake

Grant Lake is on the June Lake Loop (Highway 158), north of the village of June Lake.

On the water

Grant Lake Marina is a full-service marina with docks, a boat launch, fishing boat rentals, gas, tackle and snacks, plus dry storage for about 10 boats. Waterskiing, wakeboarding and personal watercraft are allowed only after 10 a.m. Trailered boats need the free Eastern Sierra mussel inspection and sticker before launching.

Camping

The resort's campground and RV park has 70 shaded sites with water and sewer hookups (no electricity), restrooms and showers, for RVs up to 60 feet.

Season

The marina opens the last Saturday in April and closes in mid-October, so call before a late-season trip.

Getting there & access

Getting there

Take Highway 158 (the June Lake Loop) north from the village of June Lake.

Late season

The marina closes in mid-October.

Mussel inspection

Since April 2026, Mono County requires every trailered boat and jet ski to be inspected before launching. Inspections, decontamination and the Eastern Sierra mussel sticker are free at Eastern Sierra WID stations (list at EasternSierraWID.com). Residents inspect once a year; visitors inspect on entering Mono or Inyo County, and again after launching anywhere outside the two counties. Arrive clean, drained and dry.
