Fuel dock guide

Del Rey Landing Fuel Dock

Marina del Rey, Los Angeles County, CA

Overview

Del Rey Landing, home of Del Rey Fuel, is the fuel dock for Marina del Rey. It sits on the Main Channel at the end of Bora Bora Way, close to the harbor entrance. Most boats top off here before running out to Santa Monica Bay or across to Catalina.

Fuel and services

The dock sells diesel plus regular and high-octane gasoline. The County describes high-capacity pumps, up to 60 gallons per minute across eight hose locations, which keeps lines moving on busy mornings. There's also a full dockside pump-out, and bulk oil, pre-mix oil and additives are available.

The store

The convenience store carries fishing gear, bait and fishing licenses, marine products and safety gear including life jackets, plus snacks, drinks, frozen food and coffee. It also sells dive gear and SCUBA air.

Timing your stop

Hours change with the season, roughly 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in summer and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in winter. The dock is closed Christmas and New Year's Day, and service outside regular hours is available by reservation. Weekend mornings in summer get busy, so plan for a wait.
