About this beach

Will Rogers State Beach runs more than three miles along the Pacific Palisades coast, about 103 acres of sand. It's usually less crowded than Santa Monica or Malibu, though it fills up in summer. Los Angeles County has run it since 1975, and Baywatch was among the many shows filmed here.

What to do

The beach is lined with volleyball courts and picnic tables. Surfing, surf fishing and windsurfing are popular, along with swimming and sailing. Beach wheelchairs are available.
