About this beach

The City of San Clemente runs the beaches around the pier, including North Beach, Linda Lane, the Pier Bowl and T-Street. San Clemente State Beach and Calafia are at the south end, and the 2.3-mile beach trail links them all.

The pier

The pier is open 4 a.m. to midnight. There are concessions on the pier and at North Beach and T-Street. Overhead casting isn't allowed on the pier, and neither is jumping or diving off it.

Hours and parking

City beaches are open 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Parking is metered at $1.50 an hour at North Beach, Linda Lane, the Pier Bowl and T-Street, among others; annual meter permits are sold by the city.

Rules

No alcohol, smoking, dogs, glass, amplified sound or overnight camping on city beaches, and no digging holes deeper than two feet. Fires only in fire pits or in self-contained barbecues off the sand; put hot coals in a fire ring, not the trash.
