Hollywood Beach is on Harbor Boulevard at Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, with views of the Channel Islands offshore. It's named for the movies once filmed here. The Ventura County Harbor Patrol manages it.
Facilities
Parking is free on the street. There are public restrooms and free volleyball courts, lifeguards from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and beach wheelchairs.
Rules
Leashed dogs are allowed only before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m.; bring waste bags. Open flames aren't allowed on county beaches, including portable fire pits and grills.
